This years results

We had a good and windy trip. Despite the wind, we still caught plenty of fish, we just had to work for them. We had particularly good success from the shore line. To start with, we caught plenty of nice sized crappie. We then got into some really good sized large mouths (aka Trucha black bass) and the smallie's seemed to pick up towards the end of the trip. Our trolling for striper worked again, but not to the same extent as last year. Take a look at the pictures below. Sorry, I didn't have a picture of Mike with any fish. Assume what you will...

Horse shoes

As always, we played horseshoes this year. We had a particularly difficult time setting up since the entire camp was on a hill side. In fact, on more than one occassion, someone would roll out of their chairs and down the hill a little bit. Mike leveled us off two landing pads. Nothing can keep us from our horseshoes. I have to say, the Mike/Dad team was pretty unbeatable. You had to play them at night when neither could see the pin to beat them. Steroids, enough said.

In honor...

We have taken several honorary pictures for those who were not able to attend. First, in honor of Jens, here is Chris throwing rocks into the lake instead of relaxing or playing horseshoes during lunch.

Next, in honor of Josh, we have these two pictures. We just felt that Josh's poles could use some company at the bottom of the lake. Don't worry, the pole was already broken by the ghost of Powell trips past. You'll have to ask Chris about that one.

Last, but not least, this picture is in honor of Rob, with Chris, who after being insulted, spit out a mouth full of water.
